Catching up

Ok, so I am really not good at keeping up with this blog stuff, sorry. It has been a crazy busy summer. We had a great family vacation in August when we went Silver Lake camping and enjoying each others company. We stayed at Silver Lake State Park with some of my cousin's and there kids. We went swimming, boating, dune riding, go cart riding and enjoyed a camp fire every night. I just love our family time and look forward to it all year long! Kyle is back to school and is 5th grade now, hard to believe this is his last year of Elementary school. Next year on to Middle School (shutter). Noah toured his new preschool on Tuesday and he is excited to start next week. It will be so strange to have him gone 2 1/2 days a week. My heart aches just thinking about it. Colton is getting bigger and funnier by the day. He is busy as ever getting into mischief and learning new things (from his brothers) to drive us crazy :). I have been CRAZY busy with the studio and I am still squeezing in Senior portraits by the day. John is still busy at work and is anxiously waiting for his fall (killing) season to begin (another shutter). I hope you are all doing well and continue to enjoy these last few days of Summer before the dreaded Winter sets in.

This happens at least 15 times a day.  I am afraid of heights, so he does not get this from me!  He also thinks it is funny to climb the toilet to get onto the bathroom counter.  Yikes, what am I going to do?

Fun at the Museum

Kyle was off from school today so we went to the public museum for a little fun.  They have a dinosaur exhibit right now that is really neat.  All the dinosaurs are animated and make noise.  The boys loved watching them and digging for fossils.  We had a nice lunch over looking the Grand River and took carousal rides which Colton did not enjoy.  I forgot how fun it was to go to the museum although I think some time it would be fun to go without the kids so I could actually look at all the exhibits :).

Colton is learning new words every day.  He is very bright and likes to copy everything his brothers do! (not sure if that is a good thing or not)

Noah is always keeping us on our toes, I think we might lose the most sleep with this child!  He is such a blessing.
